Rod Howard is an Australian author and freelance journalist, whose work has appeared in many print and online publications.

In his narrative biographies, Rod has a passion for bringing history to life and illuminating under-known characters, scraping back the thin wallpaper between fact and fiction. 

Together with his work as a writer, Rod was the founding Chair of the Bellingen Readers and Writers Festival in New South Wales, Australia.
